ABOUT
MISSION AND HISTORY

Elks are community. No matter where you go in the country, an Elks Lodge is right around the corner. With more than 850,000 members and 2,000 Lodges nationwide, Elks are providing charitable services that help build stronger communities. We are a generous charitable foundation that each year gives millions in scholarships, an inspiration to youth, a friend to veterans and more.
Since 1891 the El Paso Elks Lodge brings so much more to the El Paso Community than just a building. They offer a place where neighbors come together, families share meals and we offers many projects to assist the community. We serve the people and local community through benevolent programs, demonstrating that Elks Care and Elks Share.
The El Paso Elks invest in their communities through many hands on community programs that assist children, veterans and citizens with disabilities, in the El Paso Community.
The national Elks foundation spends more than $80,000,000 every year for benevolent, educational and patriotic community-minded programs in such fields as benefitting physically handicapped children, sponsoring Elks National Foundation scholarships, scouting, athletic teams, veterans' works, a national "Hoop Shoot" free-throw contest involving more than 3 million children, physical and occupational therapy programs and patriotic programs.
