ABOUT
MISSION AND HISTORY
Elks are community. No matter where you go in the country, an Elks Lodge is right around the corner. With more than 850,000 members and 2,000 Lodges nationwide, Elks are providing charitable services that help build stronger communities. We are a generous charitable foundation that each year gives millions in scholarships, supporting youth, veterans and more.
Serving the El Paso community since 1891, the El Paso Elks Lodge brings so much more to the local community than just a building. Offering a place where neighbors come together, families share meals and they participate in many projects to assist the community. The lodge serves by participaing in hands-on community programs that assist children, veterans and citizens with disabilities, families in need through benevolent programs, demonstrating that Elks Care and Elks Share.

The national Elks foundation spends more than $80,000,000 every year for benevolent, educational and patriotic community-minded programs in such fields as benefitting physically handicapped children, sponsoring Elks National Foundation scholarships, scouting, athletic teams, veterans' works, a national "Hoop Shoot" free-throw contest involving more than 3 million children, physical and occupational therapy programs and patriotic programs.
