BRINGING 2018 IN - IN STYLE 12/31/17
Elks Lodge 187 was so excited to attend KIDS EXCEL perforamnce on December 18th. What a talented group of 4th graders and an amazing program. Recognizing that the arts have a unique power to engage and motivate children, the mission of Kids Excel El Paso (KEEP) is to help children develop discipline, a standard of excellence, and self-confidence that will positively impact their education and all aspects of their lives - one dance step at a time. Thanks to everyone attended.
What a great Christmas Treat as Elks Lodge 187 team members helped decorate Christmas tree at the Veteran's Transitional Living Center and provided pizza for lunch! Thanks to everyone who helped put this event together and participated in the festivities.
What a special day an honor as the Elks hosted children from Center Against Sexual & Family Violence Center. These children enjoyed a special visit from Mrs & Mr Clause, presents and made tons of ornaments, cookies and more.! Way to go Elk Lodge 187...we delivered 50 baskets to people in need, thanks to each of you. We are thankful to everyone who helped make this a reality.
HELP US GIVE BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY & FAMILIES WITH YOUR FOOD DONATION. El Paso Elks Lodge #187 will be busy helping local families this holiday season. Many needy families will receive free food baskets for Thanksgiving.
Now through November 15, 2017, The El Paso Elks Lodge is hosting its Annual Thanksgiving Basket Food Drive. Elks Lodge 187 will be purchasing turkeys for baskets. A minimum of 50 Thanksgiving Baskets filled with Thanksgiving food items and will be delivered by the lodge, to area families & organizations who cannot afford Thanksgiving dinner.
The lodge is seeking donations of food items to include canned corn, peas, green beans, gravy mix, potatoes, cranberry sauce & stuffing mix, bread rolls, coffee/tea bags and apple or pumpkin pie.
Please drop off food items, by Wednesday, November 15, 2017:

Thanks to the members of lodge 187 who proudly delivered the traveling flags to Loma Verde elementary school on October 15th. The school counselor and librarian we’re both super excited to have the flags, in order to help teach the history of the flags to their students. Way to go Elks!!!!
